1. Database Architecture: Tenant Isolation

To guarantee data confidentiality between distinct carrier accounts while maintaining horizontal scalability, we implemented:

• Strict row-level security (RLS) policies within PostgreSQL.
• Isolated schemas for document storage, ensuring broker rate agreements and factoring records cannot be accessed across carrier boundaries.

2. Real-Time Dispatch Engine

• Dispatches are created with dynamic rate calculations including fuel surcharges, detention fees, and stop-off charges.
• Real-time WebSocket event pipelines push live trip status updates to dispatchers and shippers without manual phone check-ins.

3. Automated Broker Invoicing

• As soon as a proof of delivery (POD) is uploaded, the platform automatically generates standardized PDF invoices with signed bills of lading attached and drafts them directly to the broker's accounts payable inbox.
